OUR APPROACH

Therapy built for your world.

We don't ask you to leave your culture at the door. At Fenweh, your background, your queerness, and your complexity are central to how we work.

Queer & LGBTQ+ Affirming

Your identity is not a problem to be solved - it's a gift to be held. Our therapists don't just tolerate queerness; they actively centre it. We understand the specific weight of being LGBTQ+ in an Indian family.

Trauma Informed

We understand that trauma doesn't always arrive loudly. Sometimes it lives in the body, in patterns, in the things we never say. We work gently, at your pace, always centring your safety and agency.

Culturally Grounded

You won't have to explain why you can't just 'set limits' with your parents, or why moving out isn't always an option. We speak your language - literally and culturally.

OUR STORY

Born from the experience of
feeling unseen

Fenweh was founded by therapists who deeply understand what it means to sit in therapy and feel like the most important parts of yourself - your culture, your queerness, your immigration story - are being glossed over.

The name Fenweh speaks to a longing for home and for belonging - something every Indian, wherever they are in the world, knows intimately. We hold that longing with tenderness.

Our therapists are themselves part of the Indian diaspora and/or the LGBTQ+ community. We bring lived experience to the work, not just training.

CLIENT STORIES

Voices from our community

Therapy has helped me a lot to find structure again, at times when my own thoughts are overwhelming and I cannot find my way through life. Lenny has been a great guide through the whole journey - patient, kind, respectful and relatable!

My therapy journey with Fenweh has been incredible. It has really helped me ground myself and deal a lot of complex emotions I had been struggling with - through Covid and through the various phases of life. Fenweh has really given me the opportunity to accept myself and empowered me with tools to navigate life.

Mary*

26, Female

It has been a great gradual progress with therapy, it really helps open up and feeling really safe to share with someone who makes you feel understood and not judge. The tips and the suggestions really helped me pass through a difficult time ❤️
